6 Months

Well, that flew by! I can't believe Cohen is 6 months old already.  Life with 2 littles sure keeps you busy! Cohen has continued to be such a good baby. He has been sleeping through the night for quite some time now.  He goes to bed around 9 and will wake up any time between 6 and 8 a.m.  I never really know when it will be.  He will be awake for about 2 hours in the day before he wants to nap and will nap anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. We moved him to his crib at about 5 months old.  I had some serious separation anxiety for awhile but we have a video monitor which eases my anxiety a lot :) I'm such a paranoid mom and will still wake up a few times in the night and just stare at the  monitor to make sure he is okay.

Hayes wakes up later, so morning time is "Mom and Cohen time."  After his bottle we usually just lay on the floor and talk to each other.  It's become one of my favorite parts of the day.  He just "talks" and smiles and looks at me with those big eyes and I can just feel his sweet spirit. He really is a special little boy.

I just weaned Cohen from breastfeeding so he now is taking all bottles. He is a champ with solids and has baby food twice a day.  However, he is still pretty small! He hasn't been to his 6 month check up yet, because we got behind with him being born around the holidays.  At his 4 month check up he was in like the 6% for weight and 3% for height! Just a little guy.

Cohen has been teething for like 2 months but still no teeth yet. He takes a binky to go to sleep and likes to suck his thumb.  It's probably the cutest thing ever.  He is a mover! He scoots and rolls all over the place.  We've had to stop putting him on the bed because he will be to the edge in a minute! I'm sure crawling is not far off.

Cohen adores his older brother.  They are the sweetest sight to see playing together. They have already become buddies and it melts me! Hayes can always get Cohen to smile. He is a little giggler and we love it.  He is getting more and more fun and I'm trying to savor every stage!
